- Store limit — When you try to connect a second store on the Free or Starter plan.
- AI credits depleted — When you attempt an AI operation with insufficient credits.
- Feature restrictions — When you try to use a Pro-only feature like Shopify Markets or Shopify-editable mode.

Understanding Prorating
When you upgrade between paid plans mid-cycle, EcomWize calculates a prorated charge so you only pay the difference for the remaining days in your billing period. Example: If you upgrade from Starter (79/mo) halfway through your billing cycle:- You have already paid $49 for the full month
- The Pro plan costs $79 for a full month
- The difference is $30 for a full month
- Since you are halfway through, the prorated charge is approximately $15
What Happens After Upgrading
When your upgrade is confirmed:| Aspect | What Happens |
|---|---|
| Features | All new plan features are available immediately |
| AI credits | Reset to the new plan’s full allocation |
| Publishing limits | Updated to the new plan’s limits instantly |
| Store connections | New limits apply immediately (Pro: unlimited) |
| Billing cycle | Continues on your existing billing date |

Your page data, brand styles, sections, and all other content are preserved during the upgrade. Nothing is lost or reset except AI credits, which are set to the new plan’s allocation.

- Confirm/Cancel buttons — To proceed or go back
