# Upload and manage media

> Upload images and videos, reuse AI generated images, and create new ones in Creative Studio.

The **Media** tab in the right panel holds every image and video you can use on your pages.

## Upload a file

In the right panel, click **Media**, then **Click to upload** or drag and drop files onto the panel.

| Type | Formats | Max size |
| - | - | - |
| Images | PNG, JPG, WEBP, SVG | 5MB |
| Video and GIF | MP4, GIF | 20MB |

> Compress large photos before you upload them. Smaller files load faster on your live page.

## Use an image on the page

**1. Select the image**

Click the image on the canvas you want to change.

**2. Open Media**

Click **Media** in the image toolbar. The Media panel opens.

**3. Pick a replacement**

Click an image in **Uploads** or **AI Generated** to replace the current one.

For section backgrounds, use the **Image/Video** tab in the background color popover. See [Edit on the canvas](https://docs.ecomwize.io/builder/edit-on-canvas.md).

## Find AI generated images

The **AI Generated** tab shows images made with AI, ready to reuse on any page.

## Generate new images

Click **Generate images** to open [Creative Studio](https://docs.ecomwize.io/creative-studio/creative-studio.md), where you can create new images. You can also ask the [agent](https://docs.ecomwize.io/builder/ai-agent.md) to generate and place an image for you (10 credits per image).
